Today our JCI chapter of Essen has attended the JCI European Conference and signed a twinning agreement with our finnish friends in Loimaa.
There couldn’t be a better reason for twinning than bridging the gap to different countries & cultures. By talking “with” each other instead of “about” each other we become capable to abandon stereotypes, initiate real intercultural exchange and finally prove our JCI values.
Gaining cross-cultural competence – probably the most important currency of the future – that’s what twinning is all about!
We are looking forward to transnationally strenghtening our friendship and mutual beneficial relations between our both chapters.
